For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. The Laundry Love Project (LLP) provides quarters, detergent, bleach, and a staff to do laundry for homeless clients. S.A.M. is adopting the Marina Village LLP, which is held the third Tuesday of every month from 5:30PM-7:30PM at the Marina Village Wash and Dry at 2413 E Harbor Blvd in Ventura (next to Meridian's).
Simple actions you can take:
- Donate quarters for the LLP (S.A.M. has a can on the Connection Counter).
- Attend the next LLP on December 15th from
5:30PM-7:30PM.

S.A.M. has placed a trashcan near the Connection Counter at church. We are currently requesting Macaroni & Cheese and new blankets. These will be distributed to those in need through local non-profit organizations.
